Hunt is revitalizing nearly 540 acres of land in Kalaeloa (formerly Naval Air Station Barbers Point) into a thriving mixed-use community with an estimated 3,000 homes for local families, while creating a robust commercial and light-industrial center with the potential to generate thousands of new jobs.
Hunt's Kalaeloa Strategic implementation Plan is an important public-private partnership between Hunt, the City & County of Honolulu, and the State of Hawaii which will deliver a vibrant and revitalized Kalaeloa as envisioned in the State's Kalaeloa Master Plan.

Paul Kay, Executive Vice President & COO at Hunt Hawaii
Mr. Kay's experience spans more that 35 years across all aspects of master-planned community and infill development, both in the urban and suburban environments. At Hunt, Mr. Kay's responsibilities include the development and asset management of over 530 acres at Kalaeloa, the former Barbers Point Naval Air Station. Prior to joining Hunt, Mr. Kay was a Director Real Estate Planning & Development for Kamehameha Schools. Before that, he held leadership positions with Stanford Carr Development, LLC, WB Kukio Resort LLC, RiverLakes Ranch, and Castle & Cooke.
A native of Hawaii, Mr. Kay earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration at the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business.
